There's a bunch of things we choose to do in our life. You choose what you want to do when you grow up, you choose who you want to be, you choose your friends. But there's one thing you can't choose, you can't choose who you are going to love.
I've been wondering about this, asking myself if you can answer why you love someone, and sometimes you do. You can rationally visualize what makes someone lovable, but you don't really have a say in it. Or you love, or you don't. You can't force yourself to love someone, you can try, you can see a lot of qualities in a person, you can say "that person is so right for me", but it isn't true unless you really feel it. And when it comes to choose... there's not really a choice, because the truth about love is that is a savage piece of feeling that rushes through your soul and overcomes every bit of your own free will.
You either love, or you don't.
